What comes to mind when you hear the word “evangelism”? A guy with a megaphone? A salesman in a good suit? If sharing our faith depends on our pitch, it’s no wonder so many of us never start. But in the Great Commission, Jesus doesn’t hand us a sales quota. He gives us his authority, sends his Spirit, and makes a promise: “I am with you always.”
In this message, we look at what the Great Commission actually rests on, and why telling people about Jesus belongs to every Christian, not just the professionals. We’re not called to convert anyone. We’re called to be witnesses, saying what we’ve seen and heard, and trusting God to do what only he can. The wind is already blowing. All we have to do is put up the sail.
